Dr. Martha V. Mooney:

Dr. Mooney is celebrating over 30 years in veterinary medicine. She is the owner/founder of Maple Run Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Mooney graduated from The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1978. She came back to her hometown of Mount Gilead, Ohio to open her veterinary clinic. Dr. Marty is married, has one daughter, 3 dogs-Latte, Dolche , & Mocha, and 2 cats- Milka, & Truffle. She is an avid Ohio State fan and is active at her church.


Meet the Managers

Practice Manager, Allegra Mooney-Waldron, CVPM

Allegra has been active in veterinary medicine all of her life. Allegra has officially worked in the practice since 1995, she has been the practice manager since 2005. Allegra holds a degree in education from Malone University. Allegra earned the Certified Veterinary Practice Manager designation in 2019. Allegra lives with her husband and is owned by 7 dogs-Chili, Serrano, Cascabella, Habanero, Bananarama, Ghost, and Millie, all long-haired miniature dachshunds named after hot peppers, and 3 cats- Skittles, Cadbury, and Almond Joy. In her free time, Allegra is active in her church, in Relay for Life Morrow Co., Past-President of the Auxiliary to the OVMA, President of the Auxiliary to the AVMA and spending time relaxing with family and friends . She also owns Maple Run Management Solutions. She was a speaker at the 2008, 2009, 2010, & 2011 Midwest Veterinary Conference.

Office Manager, Mandie Bump

Mandie joined our team in 2006. Mandie serves as our Office Manager. She lives with her husband, 5 children, and a cat named Scotty Smalls. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, playing and watching softball, gardening and camping.

Cindy R.

Cindy joined our team in 2007. She is a breast cancer survivor. She is owned by 2 dogs named Emma & Piper. In her free time she enjoys reading, playing on her computer, watching TV and camping.

Renee N.

Renee joined our team in 2015. She is owned by her cat named Buttons. In her free time she enjoys sewing, crafts and working with her 4-H club. She is also on the leadership team for Relay For Life Morrow County.

Julie S.

Julie joined our team in 2017. She lives with her husband, 2 boys, a border collie named Tank, an Australian Shepherd named Shelby, and a farm full of animals. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and watching her boys athletic events.
